Chief of Staff
Dr. Trae Cutchin has been in
clinical veterinary practice for
over 20 years.  He is a 1988

R. E. 'Trae' Cutchin, DVM
has lived for over fifteen years.  Dr. Cutchin founded
Friendship Springs Veterinary Care so that he
might make his vision of veterinary medicine a reality.
He grew up in rural Alabama, the son of a retired Air
Force sergeant who has been his source of
inspiration throughout his life.  He has two cats at
home, Shane and Samantha.  In his spare time he
enjoys working on his lawn and garden, reading,
bowling and softball.
Hospital Administrator
Joel is a retired naval officer with more than thirty
years of experience in health care services, and he
is the owner of his own independent practice
management consulting firm.  Having been the
"father" of many pets over the years he understands
the challenges of providing a nurturing and safe
environment for "furry children."  He has two
grown human children, and currently shares his
home with three fuzzy ones.
As an officer of our practice
he is fully dedicated to its
success.  As a concerned
"pet parent" he shares all the
same concerns as the families
of our patients and is often
their advocate, their voice.

Barbara Jackson
Nursing & Patient Care
Wendy has worked previously with a veterinarian
and is experienced in patient care.  Her youth and
enthusiasm drive her to continue to hone her skills
in animal nursing and customer service.  She is
married to Ryan, and they have two dogs, a cat
and a brand new son named Brighton.  She
adopted her cat when no else would because it
has the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)--she
had been living in a kennel for over six months
with little attention and no exercise.  Her good
heart and willingness to jump
right in make her a very
invaluable part of our
professional team.  She loves
to express herself though art.
She and her family currently
reside happily in Gainesville.

Nursing & Patient Care
Ashley Brock has always known that her passion in life was working
with animals and their families.  She has two grey and white cats

gave them a place in her life and her home.  able

Office Manager
Barb brings to our family over fifteen years experience
in healthcare and customer service.  Although she is
relatively new to veterinary health care, her love of animals is life
long.  She has always felt the pull to work in the veterinary field
and now, finally the time is right.  She looks forward to gaining
knowledge and experience that she can share with clients to help
them enrich their own lives as animal lovers and pet owners.
Barb is very excited to be a part of our family and to be able to
help our patients live happier, healthier, longer lives.  During her
spare time, she enjoys gardening in her yard and reading anything
and everything by James Patterson.  Barb, her husband, and their
son share their home with three dogs, Jordan (a shepherd-lab mix), Maxie (a boxer/
pitbull mix), and Bella (a terrier mix).  They live here in Flowery Branch.
